Leon Industrial Breaks Ground on 161 Airport Center

The firm’s latest project underscores the continued growth of the DFW region, as Leon Industrial increases activity across the Sun Belt.
April 9, 2025 – Dallas, Tx – Leon Industrialis pleased to announce the groundbreaking of 161 Airport Center, a new Class A industrial project on Highway 161 a short distance from DFW Airport and 16 miles from Dallas’ CBD.
At the groundbreaking ceremony, Fernando De Leon said: “The US is the best country in the world to invest in; Texas is the best state in the US to invest in; the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex is the best city in Texas to invest in; and the best part of Dallas to invest in is near the largest logistical hub in the world – DFW Airport. 161 Airport Center will be a 118,178 square foot state-of-the-art building, featuring exceptional amenities including 32’ clear height, LED lighting, ESFR sprinklers, up to 28 trailer parks, outside storage availability, 130’ truck court, and 1500A power.

In addition to 161 Airport Center, Leon Industrial currently has four developments under construction in DFW, totaling ~550,000 square foot with several new projects slated to commence construction in 2025.
