The rapid and continued growth in the U.S. Sunbelt has brought outsized commercial real estate investment opportunities to investors. The Sunbelt holds roughly 50 percent of the national population and has accounted for 75% of the total US population growth over the past decade. The region stretches across 18 states in the Southeast and Southwest. The boom is primarily driven by an exodus from high-tax to low tax-states.
